Effective April 9, 2018, TLS 1.2 must be enabled on your computer in order to avoid service disruption of Online Banking, Business Online Banking and Express Deposit.

What is TLS? Transport Layer Security (TLS) is the most widely deployed security protocol and is used for web browsers and other applications that require data to be securely exchanged over a network (including the internet). The newest and most secure version of this protocol is 1.2.

What does this mean for you? Most likely no action will be required on your part, as all newer versions of the major internet browsers automatically provide the option for using TLS 1.2. However, if you experience issues with your Online Banking, Business Online Banking or Express Deposit after April 8th, you may need to update your TLS protocol.
