Responsible for reviewing credit and closing loan documents for accuracy, regulatory compliance as well as compliance with investor or government guaranty program requirements. Ships loan documents to investors and any community entity requiring documentation to adequately insure or fund loans. Reconciles purchase funds received from investors or community grant organizations. Processes funds received and due as needed. Images various documents in the Bank's document storage system. Processes government-required tasks for insuring loans as applicable. Follows up with investors and government entities to clear suspense conditions. Monitors the pipeline for loans coming up on rate lock expirations and requests extensions or cancels the locks accordingly. Registers loans with MERS and processes transfers of servicing in MERS system for loans delivered and sold to investors. Acts as back up to other Mortgage Lending Operational positions as needed.
