FBFC Turns 160!
We have been making lives better in the communities we serve since 1859. That makes us older than the Civil War, older than the Great Depression, older than radio, television and the internet, and maybe even older than Keith Richards (no one really knows)! Please enjoy this page and the slivers of history we’ve included to show you where we came from. There are even opportunities for you to help us give money away, and win some money for yourself. Peruse away!
Hear From The Community
My family has been banking with FBFC for 4 generations! It all started with my great-grandfather and ever since then I've known that I can count on this establishment for everything. I have banked here, worked here, financed 2 cars here, and I even moved all the way across the world and kept my accounts here! I've got complete trust and cannot imagine ever banking anywhere else!
I have tried banking at most of the banks in the West Bend area throughout the years, as they offered a bonus to come bank with them. None of them even come close to the excellent & friendly customer service I have received at FBFC in West Bend! The tellers always greet you by name as you walk in the doors & seem genuinely happy to see you every time you come in! Marcia, Stacey, Jen & Tammi have exceeded my expectations of a bank time after time & I thank you all for that!!
When the drive-thru was closed for construction, Marcia offered to come to the side door & take my banking in for me so that I didn't have to leave my vehicle! She is top notch & one of a kind & you don't see employees like this anymore!! During customer appreciation days Stacey always wants you to feel appreciated & that you receive top notch customer service including something special just for you! Anytime I have a question or an issue arises Marcia & Stacey are right there making sure it is taken care of & resolved immediately to your liking, which is much appreciated!! I have recently moved out of the city of West Bend but because of the excellent customer aervice I receive at FBFC & the above named employees, I plan on staying banking at FBFC in West Bend as the drive will be worth it!!
Thank you, thank you FBFC of West Bend for exceeding my expectations in a bank time after time!!
I started with Bank of Oconomowoc, when I got my first part-time job while going to school in 1971. Then I worked there for 17 years after high school. The name changed and people change, but the First Bank of Oconomowoc customer service stays top-notch. It is always how I was trained - to be curious, friendly, know names, cross sell services, and keep customers informed. I hadn't been there as long as Mary Sharp or Linda Dahl, but I did work with these two fantastic employees during that time. Some things have changed with the "Home Town" Bank it used to be, but all-in-all, I still bank with them. Congratulations on 160 years and here's to many more!
It has been a great journey with FBFC since I opened my first checking account with them 4 years ago. It is special for me as my first job in the USA's salary is deposited in my account with First Bank Financial Centre. I got emotionally attached when my first 15 days work salary got credited and I kept on checking online banking. Since then I regularly check online and mobile banking as well as regularly visit my Grafton location to say "Hi" to the nice and friendly bankers we have here. They are very professional and advised me about growing my money depositing in a CD account. I frequently get invites for great events at Grafton location as well. I am thankful to FBFC and their Grafton location bank employees for taking care of me and my money.
I had my first account there since 1996. I enjoy the community-like banking and how they go beyond their customers' needs. I live 20 min away in Watertown, but still keep my acct at FBFC. Everyone is so helpful at any branch. I like the great customer service.
