FBFC Turns 160!
We have been making lives better in the communities we serve since 1859. That makes us older than the Civil War, older than the Great Depression, older than radio, television and the internet, and maybe even older than Keith Richards (no one really knows)! Please enjoy this page and the slivers of history we’ve included to show you where we came from. There are even opportunities for you to help us give money away, and win some money for yourself. Peruse away!
Hear From The Community
It has been a great journey with FBFC since I opened my first checking account with them 4 years ago. It is special for me as my first job in the USA's salary is deposited in my account with First Bank Financial Centre. I got emotionally attached when my first 15 days work salary got credited and I kept on checking online banking. Since then I regularly check online and mobile banking as well as regularly visit my Grafton location to say "Hi" to the nice and friendly bankers we have here. They are very professional and advised me about growing my money depositing in a CD account. I frequently get invites for great events at Grafton location as well. I am thankful to FBFC and their Grafton location bank employees for taking care of me and my money.
I had my first account there since 1996. I enjoy the community-like banking and how they go beyond their customers' needs. I live 20 min away in Watertown, but still keep my acct at FBFC. Everyone is so helpful at any branch. I like the great customer service.
We moved to Oconomowoc in 2016 from the Wisconsin/Illinois border. Because of online banking, for a while, we left our accounts in Antioch and banked by mail when necessary. One Saturday at the Oconomowoc Farmer's Market, as I was about to pay for my purchase, a First Bank Financial Centre employee stepped up and paid for it as their special treat. Another Saturday, they were giving out playing cards. We were so impressed that when we tired of banking by mail, we switched our accounts to First Bank Financial Centre. The customer service is always top notch. Happy birthday, First Bank Financial Centre!
I opened my first account at the Mequon office of FBFC in Oct. 2012 because there was a special promotion if you opened a new checking account. Very quickly I decided that this was a friendly, efficient, and pleasant place to bank. I was impressed that they always knew my name even though I had a very small account. Within the year I opened a savings account too, and started telling other people how nice it was to bank there. Most of the people I talked to agreed with my assessment and opened new accounts for themselves. When I received a huge bill for my small safety deposit box from another bank, I opened up a new box at FBFC and continue to be delighted by their service and reasonable rates.
When my former locally-owned community bank was bought out by a multi-national mammoth institution, I had to again find another home-grown bank where I could feel I was again an important piece of their long-term plan and they would be a piece of my long-term plan as well. First Bank Financial Centre was a wonderful find and they have been in my corner on all levels of banking, from mortgages to various monetary accounts and financial recommendations.

Operation DREAM was founded in 2006 to make a lasting impact on boys and young men in Milwaukee by engaging them as early as age four, matching them with dedicated positive role models from the same neighborhoods in Milwaukee, and guiding them into responsible adulthood through holistic programming so they graduate from high school and are equipped to lead self-sufficient lives.
Through our shopping spaces, gardens, community kitchens, and mentoring programs we create dynamic food environments to foster kinship between disparate groups; promote healthy food access; and empower our community with the resources to serve and advocate toward greater social and economic stability.
