Beginning July 1, 2010, all customers must opt-in to the payment of ATM and everyday Debit Card purchases in order to receive this beneficial service and avoid potential future inconveniences; such as having one time debit card transactions rejected by a merchant.
At FBFC, we understand that simple and common mistakes are made. By opting-in, your account will continue to function in the same manner that you are accustomed to. FBFC will continue to cover your standard transactions like checks and automatic bill payments which are unaffected by this new legislation; as well as ATM transactions and everyday debit card purchases in the event your account becomes overdrawn.
If you choose not to opt-in, beginning on July 1, 2010* ATM and everyday Debit Card transactions will be denied if funds are not immediately available.
If you would like to retain the security of knowing that your transactions may be paid in case of a mistake, please check the “I want to authorize” box on this form.
There are three convenient options for replying:
*Technical updates to our core processing system will allow us to make your elections effective for the payment of ATM and everyday Debit Card transitions effective July 1, 2010.
