The position of Home Loan Lender is responsible for generating external business for activities that extend retail credit. Networking and relationship building activities are key to the success of this individual and will include: cultivating and establishing contacts with realtors, builders and contractors to enhance market penetration; attending real estate and home improvement events to promote the services and products of First Bank Financial Centre; community involvement and public relations activities to build a referral network within the community.
Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field or equivalent experience; a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible retail lending experience, including experience generating external loans; thorough understanding of loan documentation criteria, financial insitution services, products, policies, and procedures; experience in underwriting or analyzing financial information; must possess basic keyboarding skills and the ability to navigate in a Windows environment; must have a valid driver's license.
